We were approached by LV= to conceive and produce a series of sponsorship idents for the new ITV drama Jekyll and Hyde. The idents had to increase brand and product awareness whilst complementing the style of the series.
Filmed at Milestones Living Museum and on the Watercress Line, the Light Side team recreated 1930’s Britain incorporating the Jekyll and Hyde theme of change. The idents feature a family who find items from their 1930’s lives transforming into their modern day equivalents. The concept uses items such as the iconic LV= lime green car or a 1930’s radio transforming into an iPad.
BEHIND THE SCENES
Filmed on the Arri Amira, over 4 days, with talent from Bournemouth and London. The idents have been well received in the trade press: Campaign Magazine, as well as the Bournemouth Daily Echo, and viewed by just under 4million ITV1 viewers.
